Eye Eye

On Sunday it was one of those cold, crisp days where you just want to wrap up warm and head out to enjoy some winter sun.  We got on our bikes to cycle into Brighton and head over to the Marina for brunch - something we haven't had a chance to do for ages.  On the way through, we had a look at the new i360 which opened in the summer - a new landmark for the city and the opportunity to get up in the air for a bird's eye view.  It's something we really have to do before we move away from the city.

It actually opened in the same year as the 150th anniversary of the opening of the West Pier, which sadly is now in a very sorry state.  (Note - the i360 tower is neither bent nor leaning inwards, it is just a strange and unwanted effect from my camera lens).

On the way back, the London and Surrey Mini Owner's Club had gathered on the seafront for their festive "Donut Run".

A good excuse to decorate their vehicles in a festive manner, drive their favourite cars, have a catch-up and eat donuts on the seafront.
